This Girl is quite the odd one out wearing her Wellingtons, the other Girls are wearing flip flops, perhaps she knows something that they don’t.

About juliewearswellingtons
Ever since I was 14 I have had a passion for Rubber Wellingtons and went to School with my shiny Dunlop Wellingtons on even in the hottest weather much to the amusement of the other Girls in my class and they christened me "Wellygirl"
I got my first pair of Hunter Wellingtons when I was 16 and to this day I wear my Wellingtons when going to work, shopping and nights out with my Girlfriends. I prefer to wear my Wellingtons with Tights as I like the feel against my legs and it makes them easier to slip on and off.

She definitely knows something those other girls don’t know…and WE all know what she knows… that bright Hunter Wellingtons look amazing on bare legs!
You are absolumment correct, her bright Hunter Wellingtons certainly are eye catching.
So true! And they feel even better…..
Yes Diana, they do indeed, there’s nothing to beat the feel of Rubber Wellingtons on bare legs.
Mmmmmmm…..yesssss….awesome, sexy feeling, Julie. Hunters are chic. They make us girls look so smart. I wish they had unlined versions as well – just as an option. I know feet can get hot and sweaty in unlined rubber, but its an unparalled feel, even if it is experienced for a short while. And the smell of rubber…oh my….
Oh yes Diana,I love the feeling of my Wellingtons on my Tights covered calves and that glorious sound as my feet hit the pavement, especially when i’m running to catch the Metro and anybody who hasn’t experienced the smell of sweat in Rubber Wellingtons hasn’t lived.
How true, Julie! I can almost see/hear/smell you in your tights and Hunter Wellingtons running to catch the metro! Where are you going? To Welly Wednesday at the pub, I bet. I wish I could join you!
When i’m running for the Metro i’m going to work, both me and Tracy always wear our Wellingtons when we go to work apart from heatwaves and that’s not very often.
A storm is coming? She knows better that the others!

That must be it.
She is wearing her Wellingtons for the same reason that I wear mine – because we want to!
